Maybe Einstein was wrong, and we get more energy out of a matter-antimatter reaction than previously estimated. Since their other sign stating that 1+2 = 3 is correct, we must assume that this sign is correct and Einstein was wrong. Now, some get me a particle accelerator so I can prove it!

It's not free as in price we are worried about. It's free as in freedom. If we simply 'buy' an online forum, we might end up in the same situation we are in now. When the original developer stops maintaining the software, no one else is allowed to maintain it.
