This is the same bug Nohc experienced, and appearently, it hasn't been fixed. I placed my account in vacation on the evening of the 19th. However, my account is not protected, and furthermore, it still says I have 72 hours of vacation left, when it has been set for 4 days.

Automagically, you are no longer.

You never actually went on vacation status either... No protection, at least.
