I just added a little feature that doesn't do much, but is going to be important later on. You can now have a "global" account for the FAF game. You can try it out by logging in with your WOA account using the little box at the top of pages.
All it does for now is display a welcome message with your username. Signups for it are also closed. However, starting May 1, this will be used for signups in BFR (and other servers) instead of server-specific signup pages. Later, it's planned to add at least some measure of control to you and the admins over the accounts (currently unmodifiable) and capabilities like respawning with the click of a button, etc.

It's not going to be tied to the WOA account. Beatles just had it default with WOA info so people could try it out.Fresh Water Fighters wrote: Would it be better to have to global account tided to the Forum account, instead of a game account? The Forum account it the thing that sticks around the longest...
It'll be a "FAF account". Thus people create a FAF account, and from that can create a tribe on WOA or BFR simply be inputting Tribe name, race, and region. The FAF account persists, no matter if the WOA or BFR accounts die.
Slasher - We may reset WOA eventually (as a result of a major code change). It doesn't reset on a regular basis, however, and people don't win by being on top at the end of the set.

Unfornately that would make the whole operation quite a bit more diffacult to implement, what with the IP geolocation and the proxy servers and the like. And it would really be pointless to create a special account type that can only be accessed from the United States. It's not like we are uploading copyrighted music here...screw the globe, i want an american account

Wow. I loved this at Valhall (in the short time I played) and... It's sure to be fun here. We just need some more games.
