BTW, I think the Giants can win the Superbowl against the Patriots.
shove it up yer bum you bum.
yes, Favre cost the Packers the trip to the superbowl,
but, unlike you, i predicted the Patriots to go to the superbowl...your pick..
what was your pick Popov?
oh yeah, the Colts. MWA HAHAHAHAAA!!!
as for the Giants actually beating the Pats...i doubt it.
on a side note: the Packer/Giant game really was a great game.
the Packer D just wasnt into it and Favre had two TD passes before his fatal pick.
how many did Manning have?
right: none.

earlier in the year, it was 6 picks....
the polls on espn.com are favoring the patriots at 64% and the giants at 36% which is kind of surprising considering one team is 18-0... i guess the giants have been pretty hot lately but they failed once already and even when the pats arent playing their best, they still find ways to win.

It ain't about how hard ya hit. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done!

And yet the Colts still scored more points than the Packers.how many did Manning have?
right: none.
My pick was the Colts, and it should have been them in the AFC Championship, they were the better team, San Diego just got lucky. Pats did too, cause they got to play the weaker team.
Manning had 6 picks when they played San Diego the first time, but that didn't lose the game for the Colts. Bret Favre's interception did. I think Manning had 2 picks in the playoff game. In the first quarter, which did not lead to points. They were up 24-21 with 10 minutes left in the game. And the defense couldn't stop the backup QB and RB from scoring a TD. San Diego got lucky.
I still like the Giants to win. They have a great pass rush and Eli Manning is playing at the top of his game. Brady is possibly injured as well. He didn't play great against the Chargers.

If he doesn't have enough integrity to take himself out of the game when Belichick won't, then I have no respect for the guy. I used to think he was an OK guy, but after this season, when he was staying in and running up the score like they were, that's gone. There was quite simply no need to destroy the Dolphins 49-28, or the Redskins 52-7, or the Cowboys 48-27, or the Bills 56-10.and volk, i can perhaps understand your screwing of randy moss and belichick... but tom brady? he's a good guy.
As for going to Michigan... well yeah, there is that. Not that I like Ohio State much either.

i dont know. seems like quite the story to me considering where he came from to where he is now. he's a class act to me, always mentioning the players he has surrounding him and rarely about himself. he doesnt talk smack about other teams. he works damn hard to be the best he can and never takes any of the credit for himself. so yeah i mean i guess he's a pretty evil person, huh?
im pretty sure the point of football is to score as many points as you can and play your best the full 60 minutes... thats the way you break records and go down in the history books.

Yeah, those are the reasons I used to think he was an alright fellow, but when you are winning by more than three scores late in the game, don't you think you should give the other guy a break? The Dolphins game I can maybe understand, they had pulled to within 14, but the rest, those games were over, and they were still racking up the points.
Oh gimme a break. It's one thing to have really high scoring games, and leave your starters in because the outcome is in doubt, it's another to leave your starters when the score is ridiculously lopsided for the sole purpose of running up the score and getting into the history books. Not only is it dangerous, as a player could get hurt, it also speaks of arrogance and total lack of respect for your opponent.im pretty sure the point of football is to score as many points as you can and play your best the full 60 minutes... thats the way you break records and go down in the history books.

it just seems to me you dont see many players like that in the league today with players like chad johnson and t.o. and the like. i also dont see brady playing every game for the full duration a matter of integrity, either but i guess thats a matter of personal opinion. to me, sending in the backups would be way more insulting than leaving in the starters.
i just cant get out of my head how the vikes beat down the giants 41-17 earlier this year...

Yup, they sure did change, didn't they?i just cant get out of my head how the vikes beat down the giants 41-17 earlier this year...
Actually, I'd say most of them are like that, it's just you tend to notice the more outspoken ones.it just seems to me you dont see many players like that in the league today with players like chad johnson and t.o. and the like.
Like you said, matter of opinion, but for me, I'd find it more insulting if someone left their starters in after there was nothing left to play for, and just kept running up the score.i also dont see brady playing every game for the full duration a matter of integrity, either but i guess thats a matter of personal opinion. to me, sending in the backups would be way more insulting than leaving in the starters.
