Personally, I don't recommend torrents... but if you must use torrents, at least use a private tracker - demonoid can be classed as private but only to an extent... really if you insist on using torrents you should look for sites that are invite only if possible... such as thebox.bz or tophos.org or something like that.

Not anyone can, you need to be a friend of someone already on the tracker, therefore, it's more secure. But even so, as I said, you're better off on an ftp site or a newsgroup or something than using torrents.

Ah, good ol' Demonoid... So many torrents were using it as their tracker, and so many died...

It's a good site, fast seeders and all. Dunno what more to say; there's a bunch of good sites, and there's a bunch of crap.
