I still had a full reserve thingy I never got round to pulling out, if I hadn't have stuffed up my ratio the night before the set ended we might have gotten further but it was early in the morning and I was on the phone to someone whilst talking to Freen on AIM so I kinda buggered up a bit.. well, a lot actually - suppose that made me a target for the kill run by Landmark - who the smeg was that anyway? I should have killed them earlier in the set for going on a kill run on Windy, but I was nice and left them on 400 acres... So much for being nice huh? lol

Clans was still beaten by a solo runner with the aid of someone who didn't want you to win. This time, I expect to be beaten by a minimum of 250mil net. You should be able to beat a fairly inactive n00b. Exam time... I hate this time of year.

Well I don't think you can exactly call yourself a solo runner, but it was nice to see two people beat an entire clan. =o

Death, you haven't seen the strat in action. That little aid at the end was nothing, we did that in two days of netting on empty reserves. Could have passed a bil net easily if we'd focused on maxxing reserves.

2 days of netting with the amount of people in your clan and the land available should have gotten you a higher finish.

Actually it was only me making troops. Ditherer wasn't running at that moment, and maddog was making cash. 2 days of solo netting beat your entire round's net, and the rest was clan dynamics in action (not to belittle anyone else's contribution, I'm just putting things in perspective here)

Alright, let me rephrase that. I made 350 mil net in two days, Arthus made 600 mil net in a month. Maddog's contribution enabled the net I made to be moved from point A to point B without wasting turns. Mr Amazing took KOH out of the running.

Death, I could just as easily have kept that net. What does it matter who gets it?

I'm done arguing about it. Sending to one person is just as viable as winning on your own, but it requires allies. If you spent less time criticizing how other people play, you might get somewhere with that. And Arthus, may I remind you that the only reason you got first was because someone aided you there?

But that's basically what I've been trying to say. A win is a win is a win. End of story. Solo players had a decent boost this round since having two decent clans facing off caused half the active players in the game to lose a lot of net while a few people managed to get a decent lead.
