Why does it need to be in the game now? Indy is powerful enough without the need to resort to storing.

I really like the defensive aspect of FAF, and the reserve adds a lot to that by making it easier to recover from a smashing. I think that troops in the reserve should be shown in your net though, since right now it is basically the same as market storing.
I dunno about that. That just makes them guaranteed net that cannot be destroyed. I would be in favor of paying upkeep for them though, if it is not already like that. Reduced upkeep, but upkeep nonetheless.

The troop reserve system might have gotten an update, but as it was proposed by me...
It allowed a person to store troops OFF the PM, but forced them to keep an upkeep on them. They can only store a certain amount in there. Instant store, instant pull.
I had it so that if you got to around 500 land, the reserve would spill out and try and keep you alive as a last ditch effort.
I don't think the 500 land thing was ever put in place though.
Ah, now I just need to find out how much the upkeep is cut by. I just threw a few mil T2 in there when I ran today and I couldn't even tell that I was getting any from them.

I think it's 1/4th. I just ran, Indying for 10 turns in one tab and depositing max troops in the Reserve in the other tab, really cheap. Too cheap.

If you monostack one unit per day then switch back to regular Indy it can be a "little" cheap.

Now combine that with what a good Indy can make. But I don't mean that people can use it for net too easily, I mean the amount of upkeep it seems to require does not warrant the amount of net it can be used to hide and how much easier it makes running. I wouldn't even adjust it that much, I just complain about everything.
