and this is especially for Volkov,... ah, screw it, I will crap light on everyones heads tommarow.
*laughs*, right then.
I don't know Volkov. I'd believe it once someone does some tests. Can't be that hard...
Tests on what exactly? There are all sorts of tests. There are the ice cores that show global temps rising as CO2 rises, there are our own records of that, there is the known fact that CO2 absorbs heat, that has been proven countless times in the laboratory, there's the melting of sea ice, glaciers, and parts of the ice caps, and there is the small rise in average sea level. All this points to global warming being real. What points to humans being responsible is that we are what's adding excess CO2 to the atmosphere. Normally it's just volcanoes that add excess CO2, and this is absorbed by the plant life in the oceans and on land, and deposited in the soil. We are adding CO2 on top of what the volcanoes are adding. It's not like the animals breathing it out either, we are adding old CO2 that was last in a free state millions of years ago, it's in excess of the amount of CO2 our plant life usually has to process. This is all pretty established, I guess the only real question is, exactly how much are we contributing. How much are we putting into the atmosphere on top of what is usually put there. Evidence there points to it being a fairly large excess, about the only thing that tops what we have put in there is a really large volcanic eruption, and those happen very rarely, as compared to us who are putting a constantly increasing amount in the air every year, the planet has no coping time like it does after a big eruption.
