Keep editing, people. There are a lot of good entries in the Guide forum that are just waiting to be entered into the wiki. Don't worry about perfection the first time, small changes can be made later.

Hey, I just wanted to say that while I don't really feel comfortable making my own pages from scratch I've been going around fixing up some pages. I was just wondering if you think they are helpful. My IP address is the insightBB one. I haven't edited the guide that much and I just wanted to see if you thought I should continue making changes like I have.

Here is what I did today: Race Info and Location Info

Doing a little bit of editing. Market changed to bazzar in races guide, CoG removed/WOA added in dictionary, spelling errors fixed in several peices.

Edit: Ugh, Millitary units look awful... Somebody with some knowledge of tables, please fix that.

too many tables, only needed one main table

and if your page does not /need/ a table of contents, please dont make one
I can be over ruled on this obviously, but pages like military which are, for now, just charts dont really need one

but do we really need different units for southsward, mossflower, and northlands?
I just fixxed it so it looked 1/2 way decent, needs a spacer or two..

oh, and can we have a notice that says /who/ is editing a page? I was going to go back in and add spaces but the guide told me that somone else was editing that page.. it may have just thought I was still editing it, as what happened when I was poking the race info page..

I wouldn't think we need different listings for each region. Unless we're planning to have troops have different attack/defense strengths (or prices) based on region...

Added base costs, fixed hares formatting bug (missing </td>).

TOC happens automatically. There must be SOME way of turning it off for specific pages, though... Rules comes to mind...

I kind of liked where Ruddertail was going with the tables, but I agree that one table is fine for now.

Seriously, I'm not sure what you mean. Unless you're thinking it might be good to have different attack/defense values for different regions?

Well, if we have it on a per region/server basis, side-by-side tables look good.

well, on firefix a TOC is only added if there are entries with /// infront of them, like ///Southsward or whatever

if there are no contents for the TOC, it doesnt make one.. I'm supposing it just works like that..

and sidebyside tables dont fit
that was the whole issue with it
it would take some tweaking, but I guess it could be possible though

Now: lists don't close on the wiki. Does anyone know why?

Someone (and it wasn't me![1]) commented out ewiki_format_close_tags. Uncommented, no problem.

From now on, Preview in the wiki will also perform a basic spellcheck and cross out incorrect words in red. I know about the problem with  's; just ignore that...

Come on people! This is a top priority thing. Please work on it. I expect at least the staffers to make one contribution per day, maybe more as it's the holidays. Look, Nev wrote a brand new Hawk guide.
