Nah uh. I completely disagree with that line of thinking. What he did was wrong, and he should be punished, but if you want to run him off do it instead of beating around the bush.

If people here are going to keep jumping on the bash wagon I'm going to hand out 1 week bans to our regular members (IRREGARDLESS to who you are) and to non active members 1 month.

Sorry Freen, but I'm going to respond to a something that is a direct response to myself, and that is actually a reasonably normal post on his part.

Thank you for finally making a normal post towards me Volkov, I am proud. You see, taunting him is probably my favorite way to kill an hour when I have nothing else to do.

Your welcome, and thank you for the same. I understand boredom, I really do. So like I said, taunt him all you like, just do it elsewhere. I'm sure Arty has an email box you can spam, and he's often on some sort of IM service.

I would honestly appreciate an explanation as to why he decided to insult me after I quit using this forum though. It just looks to me like he was being a pansy and didn't want me to see it.

Probably for the same reasons you are insulting him now. He probably also figured you would read it, at some point. Given the volume of insults you have directed his way, I think you've more than made up for the insults he got off on you while your back was turned. So can you call it quits now?

What else is there to say about these suggestions though? It's a bit hard with the flood of tears in this thread. Maybe an Admin could delete all offtopic posts to make it easier?

We don't delete, but I could certainly split the topic where the flaming started. It's probably a good idea anyway. If you have anything real to add it is of course welcomed.

As for the Banhammer, it won't matter. I'm getting tired of this anyway.

1. That crap where you can be hidden but logged in, remove it. Complete and utter crap. If you want something like that then add a top ten that someone can view offline with a 30 minute delay. Someone should not be able to run turns, aid, watch people kill clannies or themselves, or anything else without being shown online. It's just stupid, you're handing the game over to whoever can stay online the longest.

2. Once you have to STD someone, they should not be able to recieve aid, that is abuseable as hell. I could just have a couple guys net, sit marked offline waitinf to get low, then have them aid me to the point where I cannot be STDd (which does not take any work at all in Duels).

3. The Turn Bank is pretty useless, you might as well just raise max turns or make it fill slower with a higher cap. In a game like this, making it uber fast will serve nothing other than handing the game to whoever is most active, as mentioned before.

Hmm, GTs! They should probably be weakened. I mean in Duels the object is to stay alive, but we're trying to make it actually require skill, right? Just whoring GTs is anything but hard.

I would have said the show as offline should only not be there in duels... maybe grey out the mark as offline box with something in config.php as to keep it looking even?

As for GT's - maybe half the defence of them by about 25% because anything more would make them not worth having at all.
