My personal ranking reflects the rather large sampling I get from having traveled and having the family I have.
1. Polish food
2. Italian Food
3. French food
4. German food
5. Greek food
6. America and Indian food tie for the consolation prize.
7. Asian food, no real prize, but at least on the list.
And yes, I have tasted the real thing of all of these. My family on my dad's side is polish, my mother's side is German, I have relatives who have lived in Italy, Asia, Greece and France, and I had an Indian roommate in college one year.

Well that answers my "real taco shop" question. My conolences friend. The Beatles wrote: Exactly my words. It's just some main course wrapped into an unappealing piece of pastry; oh yes, often hot enough to melt iron ore.
That reminds me, not really sure if I'd call this Mexican food but take one of those "unappealing pieces of pastry" and melt some butter on it then sprinkle a mix of cinnamon and sugar on it. I usually have some cinnamon sugar premixed (it keeps forever) just for that purpose. Toast works pretty well too.
I know the voices in my head arn't real but they usually have some pretty good ideas.
American food? God, greasy crap. The English made the original crap, then the Americans added grease. Food revolutionaries you guys are not. You could both use a lesson from the French or Italians in cooking!
And for its part, Canada certainly doesn't have a unique cuisine. Except for curiosities like "Beaver Tails" (deep-fried pastry with cinnamon sugar), kickass maple syrup, and this vile stuff called poutine. But, what we do have is a lot of international cuisine, virtue of our multicultural nature. Which makes me quite happy...
So, Canada doesn't need cuisine lessons because we've already got them.

If you go down to the woods today, you better not go alone
It's a lovely day in the woods today, but safer to stay at home
BECAUSE EVIL FREEN IS KILLING ALL THE TEDDY BEARS AT THEIR PICNIC

And someone here doesn't like spicy food? Sacrilege!
(When I have Vietnamese food, I consume it with a quarter liter of this chili garlic sauce.)

Just because all you know is McDonald's does not mean that it is the sum total of the American food experience! So shut up about it already Devari. For one thing, there is Burger King, which is, as advertised, flame-broiled. For another thing there's a lovely restaurant called Subway, which also makes excellent food. But that's just fast food, there's alot of wonderful, nongreasy, food from America. The home BBQ grill was invented here you know.

The Kraken, which is found primarily in Scandinavian myth, was a huge sea creature. It was said to lie at the bottom of the sea for a long time and then it would rest at the surface....Like the Midgard serpent in the Norse myths, the Kraken was supposed to rise to the surface at the end of the world.

Israel: 18 Civilians killed, 418 injured
Lebanon: 353 killed, 1100 injured
Over the kidnapping of TWO soldiers, over 350 innocents have been killed by Hezbollah and (primarily) the IDF. Not to mention, of course, the terrorism on both sides - Hezbollah launching rockets and Israel bombing civilians. I'm really impressed. Certainly worth over 350 innocent lives so that Israel can "smack their bitch up". No doubt.

Then what should we do to countries that harbor terror? Israel is trying to not kill civilians, but it happens. Hezbollah on the other hand... I support Israel 100% in this matter. Lebanon will have to pay, as will Syria for harboring Terrorists. If the people of the native country can't or won't, then they should be somewhat happy that someone else if finally helping. Plus, this could all en d if the soldiers were released. So Israel isn't dragging this out.

I think we should just take out as many civilians as we can, and in particular aim for parents. That way the kids will grow up loving Israel and then there will be peace in the Middle East.Freenhult wrote: Then what should we do to countries that harbor terror? Or if you're referring to terrorists attacking the US here's what I propose: Let's say a terrorist attack killed 3k people, and 75% of the terrorists involved are Saudi Arabians then I think we should give Saudi Arabia a bunch of money so we can use their land to mount an offensive against a completely unrelated country. That'll show the world we mean business
If the terrorist organization that masterminded it was based in oh say Afghanistan then I think we should give that government a bunch of money, then eradicate Afghanistan, set up a new government and promptly forget about it. Make sure he unemployment rate is at least 40% to help ensure that it won't become a breeding ground for terrorists. After all, if almost half of the country doesn't have to work what could an organzation like the Taliban say negatively about the west?
In the event that you can't find the terrorsits that masterminded it a distraction is needed. The best distraction you can get is fireworks in a country that is low in public opinion. Iraq for instance. If you keep the news filled with examples of a multi-million dollar jet eradicating a city block with a bomb we can get their minds off our inability to tackle the real problems. After all, what's more important, killing terrorists or being able to watch us blow crap up in real-time?
Kraken, Hamas has asked for a cease fire since a couple days after the war began. Oh, and if Israel didn't kill that family of 4 the soldier wouldn't have been kidnapped would he? Unless of course you're more willing to believe the culprits testimony over the testimony of witness, experts investigating, photographs, doctors, and evidence found at the scene. If that's the case I want you on the jury when I go to trial for my.... uhh actually I'm not gonna say what it's for.
I know the voices in my head arn't real but they usually have some pretty good ideas.
