I just lost about 8 hours of development on FAF due to being stupid. It's still unclear whether there is a good backup from the host, but in the meanwhile, Devari please put the files (and NOT the directories) from the latest FAF backup back. Thanks. What I Worked on today and lost was:
-fixed header/footer/main stats
-fixed aid news
-finished military (MOSTLY these two)
-some more news
-fixed 'warlord' issues and 2 latest topics in staff forum
-Forum news syndication (only 8 lines of code, the rest are OK)
-fixed espionage
Stupid templates_c...
No need to panic. I can restore military in a few hours, aid ditto. I was on the brink of releasing RC1 tonight, ask Windhound and Zephyrus. I'll do it tomorrow, and my other projects are shot to hell...
What next, you may ask?
Tomorrow I restore attacking, patch up some of news. When Vera's back, he does bounties, and raffle or news condensation, I do the other. Devari tries to make the borders of the smilies transparent. Then we do the test bash I'd planned, and release - I don't know when.
