Challenge lends itself to the test era -ish massing of food. Eventually, the sackers will accumulate enough that they can't be reached in the turns given, even though they have no defence. No foodworth for Challenge?

I agree. But then again, wouldn't it then be money massing? Or, if we make that NW-less, wouldn't it go to land/tower-massing? ;)

Cash is minimal, and I can always sack it off of you.
Land is scarce enough to encourage troop net.
Troops require upkeep, and thus no one is invincible.

I'm open to gameplay change suggestions. Perhaps the current style isn't so good? I think it can still be fun.
Maybe we should make sure people aren't killed until their land goes to zero.
