We got that from a chain letter on the internet. Actually, I made it up.Simple strategy, make sure that you have scouted all your turns in
protection:
1. Demolish all structures.
2. Take out a max loan.
3. Build 100 Huts, and the rest all foragers.
4. Sell all your food.
5. Forage all your turns but 20.
6. Raise Defences 10 times
7. Sell all your food.
8. Buy out the bazaar. Put extra cash into clan treasury.
PS If you follow that strat to the letter, you will net 15-20 million
networth right out of protection.

Aus and I thought the other team should know about this new strat, too:
:wq
Considering that it was sent after we all made our protection turns
That strat lends to this format of game very nicely, in fact, you you get 6 times more money selling food on here than at RWL. It pays me for not knowing the game had changed so much, and not signing up and getting experience in anything but Duels.
I didn't know how everything was played. You earn a LOT less cash from stealing with leaders than you used to, and you earn more from attacking. Even if your opponent has his defenses down (And everyone bar Aus did) it is hard to do a lot of damage against the only weakness you guys have- leaders.
So Flame has already lost this game, and not the stylish way I'd hoped to go out, either
It was expertly played by the master and creator. Nice job.

Hmm, I had asked someone a few days ago to check food sales' worth on RWL. So you can't do this on RWL? In that case, I should change food worth.
On a related note, I detect a hint of bitterness. I suppose we could always consider this a "test round" -- I think Ruddertail or Zephyrus had that proposal.
Serves you right for not playing FAF.
Just kidding.
[edit] I actually always just scout on my protection turns. I seem to recall we had a similar discussion a year or so ago.
Anyways, the fact that half of Flame hasn't logged in, plus of course the fact that when you do it is one at a time, I think the issue is not so much the "newness" of the game as the sheer fact that Flame isn't very active. After all, FAF players are about evenly distributed in the clans.

I think you know very well this can't be done on RWLThe Beatles wrote: Hmm, I had asked someone a few days ago to check food sales' worth on RWL. So you can't do this on RWL? In that case, I should change food worth.
Bitterness? Well, I always liked to play against people, not robots with exactly the same invincible strat, but my personal preference. Well, actually I haven't made an account on RWL since - heck, must be since the bug, at which time I wasn't paying attention. So to answer your question, no, I didn't know.
Robots? I suppose... although the letter was sent to everyone.
[edit] And it's not as if you've done badly.
Also, I meant changing it for a next round.
Geez, people are never pleased with admins. Especially not for periods of time exceeding 3 seconds. I know Retto probably has the same complaint...

I'm not using that strat. 60/40 barracks/foragers... Works pretty well...Holby wrote:Bitterness? Well you didn't mortally offend me. But you did shock me a bit.
I wasn't whining, and I'm not a loser.. I was just surprised one side won so easily, and then I remembered something, but apparently I was incorrect. So, C'est la vie.

You realise the original code you took came from RWL, right? The Beatles wrote: Well, actually I haven't made an account on RWL since - heck, must be since the bug, at which time I wasn't paying attention. So to answer your question, no, I didn't know.
The letter was sent to everyone after the turns were made for protection, so the strat could not be changed until we were out of protection.Robots? I suppose... although the letter was sent to everyone.

I thought it was forum etiquette to read posts before replying. [edit] I meant - interpret. How am I being hypocritical? The Beatles wrote: I know Retto probably has the same complaint...

Brilliant reasoning. That's the reason this game was created, and at the same time, the reasons many hate RWL.

Considering you do nothing at RWL bar whinge/whine/complain about the admins and their game, becoming upset that people are now unhappy with your own? I'd call that hypocritical.take your whining somewhere else.

If the game was created that way, there should be more than one succeeding strat, right? The many that hate RWL make up what percentage of your handful of active players?
