Operation Spread The Word
I can see that arguably that “What advertisements should be used and “How the other communities feel about those ad are 2 different subjects. And even if they are the same subject, I thank Devari for giving it its own topic for further detailed discussion. However, since it should be linked to this topic which is pinned and will not time out, I do so now:

Wolf Bite

~Beatles~An interesting point is that, dislike Wolf Bite as much as I will, he has done much to herd the unruly bunch at RWL into a more respectable community. Iron fist in a velvet glove you might say.

Not the greatest response, but oh well.
I think the key is recruit from within the existing Redwall community and advertising on non-promisance games. It strikes me that most promisance players like to stay where they are or profess what they prefer of their game. If we recruit from games that are not promisance, we stand a better chance of getting people less expecting things to be a certain way.
I was kinda surprised this one guy didn't actually like the new features (or didn't give them a chance)... I thought that was the best thing about FAF (and my favorite thing when programming Ragnarok).

If you go down to the woods today, you better not go alone
It's a lovely day in the woods today, but safer to stay at home

The Kraken, which is found primarily in Scandinavian myth, was a huge sea creature. It was said to lie at the bottom of the sea for a long time and then it would rest at the surface....Like the Midgard serpent in the Norse myths, the Kraken was supposed to rise to the surface at the end of the world.
~Beatles..."I'm sorry, but I really can't see anything redeeming in your philosophy other than that dinosaurs are cute."
