*Has yet to build one barrack*
It ain't about how hard ya hit. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done!

Quote: What you're saying is that with your current strategy, you tend to build up your networth to a certain point and then end up stuck there. Is that right?

Yep :) But i switched to monostacking and made my way to #1 on the Librarium Online server now...

I think the game should be rebalanced so that some buildings are not completely redundant? As ohmyjapan16 said, he's never built a barrack yet :> you don't need to build barracks, markets, or tents at all...

True, but different strats require different buildings. If he doesn't build barracks, he has to buy all his troops, requiring large amounts of cash. Also, he will be limmeted by what he can buy off the bazzar and public market. So, while you can get buy with out building barracks, doing that gives you disadvantages you could avoid by building them.

Markets and tents aren't the most usefull when you have large amounts of troops, but cash massing does work, and so are usefull then. Also, to start out it helps to build markets and tents, so you don't have to constantly sell food and troops to support yourself during protection.

Camps are the only universally useless building, it seems. Barracks == Bottom Kicking

Camps aren't useless. They were working quite well for me. Before I got killed <_< Anyway, I had millions of mice, and was losing something like $3 mil per turn. That was nice...

There is a cap for how much not-food net can be kept on a certain amount of land. Keeps emperors within hitting range for us.
Back. I think.

I was wondering too. I would guess it means building only one type of building, or focasing on one resorce, or troop type.

No I'm not Zoot Zuit. I'm 'Kingdom of the Lion' on LO.

err am no longer #1... went into hiding :)

'monostacking' - have only 1 type of troop, barracks and foragers only. well, and some huts to protect against hawks. what's the term here for that?

well, strictly speaking someone with only hawks is a monostacker too, but i think we use the term 'mager' on LO.

Urran Voh, the whole AOM clan isn't doing badly at all on LO :) Gratz!

Hawks are used here as well..From the looks of the game, it's exactly the same as FAF with some races changes and different troop names. It's been around for 2 months maybe?

Yea, well we're kinda used to the code. And everyone going indy makes it easy for us to go hawks. :*laughs*:
