I have a strange tale:

Long, long ago, in the days of the deeply mourned RWCenter, a couple friends and I had an idea for a fantastic Redwall-ish RP club. The idea was to have a setting not unlike the Roman Empire populated by a variety of unorthodox Redwall types. Unorthodox in that most races had nothing to do with the original books. Essentially, RWCenter crashed and there went the ol' hosting. I still love the idea we had, although I doubt I'd have time to do it now. <_<

What does this have to do with my nickname? Well, as I said, this was a Roman-themed club - therefore I needed a Roman-esque name. After going under the temporary name of Maximus, something popped into my head. Augustales Devari Salvonus of Aurlezantium! (Augustales, by the way, was the rank right under Praefect. So, sort of second-in-command.)

I was an African Wild Dog, by the way. :D

Interesting, Devari. My name came from a similar place, my start on the ROC came in a Redwall club called the Mossflower Patrol. It was a IC club, and since I was going to be an otter characer, the name Ruddertail made sense. When I first found WB II and TSR, I just transferred my name, and kept it when we moved to FAF. Slasher, I have no idea why you chose the name Slasher. Zeph, why did you choose your name?
