Why not just make them unkillable? Allow them to be taken to 1 acres, and they have to scout their way back up from there. Maybe take away some of the benifits you gave them, leave them with only scouting and unkilabuility.
Because that leaves the players which have killing as a central part of their strategy crippled. This way killing hurts HPR people but does not destroy them. Otherwise this gives the HPRer's and Hawkers a distinct advantage over troop strategists.
Waitasecond... Killing is only part of clan warfare/genocidal emperor strategy when you want to deal a serious blow to the enemy. If killing doesn't even harm a HPR, then what difference is 1 land acre going top make.
Killing for the sake of killing is stupid - on Ragnarok it makes sense (you get the enemy's resources and some of their troops). Here, in the current environment, it is just dumb.
If you go down to the woods today, you better not go alone
It's a lovely day in the woods today, but safer to stay at home
BECAUSE EVIL FREEN IS KILLING ALL THE TEDDY BEARS AT THEIR PICNIC

Unless you're Gondor
I didn't quite understand that last part of the last post, Devari. Could you explain?
In Devari's game, Ragnarok, if you kill someone, you gain all of the resources the person had and a certain percent of their troops (not on the Market though).

I mean that, if you just resurect with no penalty, then there really is no difference between going down to 1 acre and dying anyway...
