and whats wrong with wanting to be a bit of an HPR?
actually, an HPR is somone who complains non-stop about getting hit.. I dont mind attacks, I mind getting killed.. and I didnt say anything the first time.. but it seems they have designs on my version 1.2.. its too soon to release 1.4, still in alpha testing you see... and 1.6 will never be released

I just dont like doing nothing and getting slammed.. I was curious, so I came out of protection, built a small army, and waited for somone to attack first.. and I get hit +20x.. then another 10x by another.. thats just wrong.. and I get killed when I retal for ~equal land...

people dont like to recieve what they give.. tis a shame...

but yeah.. looks like there's still a bit of a war going on..

Nothing. But it's an auful borning game if everyone refuses to attack more then 5 times on any single guy. That's why I'm saying someone might want to kill to liven things up, make some of these ponies agresive. I agree with you. If we're at war, and you take me to 5k every day, I don't mind. I just retal back, until either we truce, or one of us can't keep fighting, and asks for peace. But I don't like being killed, especially if they have no reason for it.

Fralec, I'd guess FWF and gang will be back, if they aren't already. So yes, there still is a war going on.

*coughs*
original RWL nonone attacked more than 6 times per horde.. 10x was an attempt at war.. and it was actually much more fun for it.. needless to say kills almost never occured.. I kept my #116 till the end of the round, which was many months afterwards..

now people go and slaughter somone 'cause they felt bord

it just gets old.. build up, then come back to ruins next run.. build up, then come back to ruins next run.. build up, then come back to ruins next run.. build up, then come back to ruins next run.. build up, then come back to ruins next run.. build up, then come back to ruins next run.. build up, then come back to ruins next run.. build up, then come back to ruins next run.. build up, then come back to ruins next run.. build up, then come back to ruins next run.. build up, then come back to ruins next run.. build up, then come back to ruins next run.. build up, then come back to ruins next run.. build up, then come back to ruins next run.. build up, then come back to ruins next run.. build up, then come back to ruins next run.. build up, then come back to ruins next run.. build up, then come back to ruins next run.. build up, then come back to ruins next run.. build up, then come back to ruins next run.. build up, then come back to ruins next run.. build up, then come back to ruins next run.. build up, then come back to ruins next run.. build up, then come back to ruins next run.. build up, then come back to ruins next run.. build up, then come back to ruins next run.. build up, then come back to ruins next run.. build up, then come back to ruins next run.. build up, then come back to ruins next run.. build up, then come back to ruins next run..
just gets repetitive.. and thus boring
boring games dont last long

Well, maybe. How many people did RWL have back then? From what I've heard, close to a thousand. We have 28. You can't have that few attacks per person if you've only got 20 or so others, between clanmates and allies. And some of these people only have 5k. Which means yeilds of around 10k per run, if you're lucky, 5k, if you're not. On the other hand, if you only lose half of that between runs, you're still in pretty good shape. Even if you lose all of it one run, you can count on others having more land and you being able to get it back more easilly. Of course, for BFR, I think that's a little strict. Maybe no more then 10, and 20 being an attempt at war. Boy, would that take some getting used to...

/total/ players guys.. its easy to get 2000 /total/ players (past and present) if the game runs for 5 or 6 months at a streach
we only had ~50 active players at any given time
by active I mean actually playing

QMT is awesome in the fact that it has probably 100 active players.. I got to rank 12 then forgot about my account, and thus lost it due to inactivity..
but there kills occured for reasons, not just 'cause, and it make the game fun. Most of the reasons may have been (Profanity is a sign of Maturity), but they were reasons..
and 5x per horde per day is standard there.. usually less unless you have prior disagreements

player numbers do count, sure, but the majority of FAF players would rather kill a noob than help him out
from what I've seen..
all games depend on new people to stay alive, 'cause some people grow bord of it and leave. (if 1.4 gets killed I'm not playing bfr anymore, I'm tired of it)
[pessimistic prediction]thus this game will die unless the players back off[/pp]

Meh, I only kill in retal of an attempt on me. (Which is why I have 46 kills now :P )

Next set, an evil clan of the best FAF players will be formed to teach these killers to not kill in FAF territory. Who's with me?

Yeah, that's pretty much my strategy. Only kill if someone's trying of kill me. Of course, if I've had three our four kill runs on me in the past few days, I'll get a little jumpy. I think I killed Twin Rapier by mistake last round becuase I thought it looked like he had helped in a kill run.

But you're right. We do kill way to much. I don't like playing if I get killed every two days. Sure, occasionally, a bunch of kills are fine, but it has to be something planned, you know, a bunch of players get together and say let's have a killing war for the heck of it. Not just someone killing me for no reason, or some pathetic reason, like the fact that I attacked them. Not attacked them hard, not that I declared war on them, that I attacked them. Especially if my attacks were in retal, like what you say happened to you, windy. That's just pathetic.

Also, while I don't really mind losing an account here or there, that's because I know I can come back later, and I know I can kill that person in retal. Your average new player might not have the skill to kill in retal, and might not have any chance of recovering to their former strength. Or, they might have skill, but come from a game where kills are about once in a blue moon, and only for a very good reson, and get turned off by the amount of kills happening in FAF.

Ok out of the bule BAC kills off my entire clan to make the game "more fun"
Well my clan had two newbies in it who come from my school and I convinced to play. They are not to great. They think that 11 place is good.
Why my clan? Because my clan was fuled with not so good players. BAC did not taget Ruddertails clan because he has good players.
I am just plane mad at BAC. I never even hit any of there members below 10k land. I ahrdly even attacked them and when i did only for land grabs.
I would like to take the BAC down. If any one wants to help please PM me.
Thanks.
If no one will help i will kill off Darklands single handed and then go after his clan.
I hate people who kill out of the bule for no resion and whipe out an entire clan.
