Did you get a message saying you lost hawks? And did it happen when you ran turns?
If you lose land you will likely lose 3% of your hawks every turn until your ratio stabilizes at 150 per tower. If it happens just from logging on then I don't know what to tell you.
I know the voices in my head arn't real but they usually have some pretty good ideas.
