*shrugs*
I dont like Koncuror (sp), what KDE uses as a file manager.. its poopy =-P nautilus in all its bulkyness pwns it.. built-in automount == spiffy...
edit: retracted then.. it has automount indeed.. feels odd though...
I just prodded KDE into shape, and made it look exactly like XFCE usually does, 'cept I made the taskbar transparent.. rather neat feature that.. yet 'nother nice thing with linux is that it is rather incredibly moldable.. windows you have to get separate apps to make it look even slightly different..
I'm kinda floating between KDE, Gnome, and XFCE right now.. not entirely sure which I like best.. my system has enough pull that the system-usage differences are only minor, but they are still noticable..

hum.. yeah, I just went into the KDE cp and told it to load a saved config, then saved with the xfce4-panel open.. seems to work alright..
on my 3rd install of Core 4.. rather annoying, I think it was the graphics driver.. so no more 3D acceleration fer me.. but I've still got my windows partitian for games.. (it, quite litterally, crashed Fedora.. corrupted all kinds of seemingly important files.. ah well)
yay for yum.. I've got my yum.conf saved on my jumpdrive, so all I have to do it put it back and run yum check-update, yum update, yum install xine-skins, yum install xine-lib-devel, yum install xmms, yum install xfce4-panel and a few others and I'm back up to date..
the ntfs kernel patch is slightly buggy.. only lets root go into the windows partitan, refuses to let me change permissions.. says I dont have permission.. O_o root is the highest power on my 'puter, so I 'spose its just saying 'no'
I'll poke it later..
