A. Overview
I. What are turns? Turns are the system used to allow you to expand and grow your empire. You gain turns every so many minutes, except for special situations. (EX: The Challenge Server.
II. What do turns do? In Frost And Flame, you can use turns to do a variety of things such as recruit more troops, gain extra food/cash, build or demolish structures, all used to benefit and expand your warband.
III. How do I use my turns? When using turns scouting, trading, foraging, training, writing, or healing, there will be a box that asks you how many turns you want to spend doing that action. Note that you do have a certain amount of turns that you can use, which is always shown near the top left-hand corner of your screen. When you are building or demolishing, thee will be a certain number of buildings you can build and demolish per turn, so the amount of turns you use depends on the rate you can build/demolish and the amount of structures you intend to build/demolish.

B. Spending Turns
I. Scout When scouting, each turn you will gain a certain amount of land. If you are a lower-ranked player with not so much land, you will explore more land then if you were a top-ranked warband with a lot of land. Note that the amount you explore gradually goes down while you are exploring. Most people spend the majority of their time in protection scouting and then rely on attacking for the rest of the round.
II. Trade When trading, each turn you will gain 25% more cash then you would have if you spent your turns doing otherwise. Your cash is based on the amount of markets you have built and the amount of workers you have, which can be found on the status page. If you have troops out, you will earn less cash.
III. Forage When foraging, each turn you will earn 25% more food than you would have if you spent your turns doing otherwise. Food is essential for feeding your
troops and can be sold on the bazaar for a high price. The amount of food you make depends on the amount of foragers you have built. If you have troops out, you will earn less food.
IV. Training When training, each turn you will recruit 25% more troops than you would have if you spent your turns doing otherwise. Note that you will only earn troops while training is if you have barracks built.
V. Write When writing, you produce 25% more runes than you would have if you spent your turns doing otherwise. Runes let you perform hawk missions. Note that you will only gain runes if you have huts built. The amunt of runes you make depends on the amount of huts you have built.
VI. Heal When healing you gain 2% your health back per turn. DO NOT heal if you already have full health, as it is a waste of your turns. Normally, you would only get 1% health back per turn. You lose health by attacking other players, or performign certain hawk missions. Note that the amount you heal is different if you have the healing hero, Brome.
VII. Build After you attack someone and break their defences, you will capture some land. With that unused land, you can build structures that can make you produce more money or food, train troops, etc. You can only build a certain amount of structures per turn and the cost to build a structure and number of structures you can build changes as you play.
VIII. Demolish If you build your structures one way and don't like the way you are making resources/troops, you can always demolish some structures and build something else. When demolishing, you get money for each structure that you destroy. You can only demolish a certain amount of structures per turn, and the amount you can demolish and the money you get back changes as you play.
IX. One-turn Output When you use a turn, you will earn/lose a certain amount of cash/food the amount of cash/food you earn/lose depends on the amount of markets/foragers you have built and the amount of troops you have out.
X. Turn Condensation Let's say you want to forage for 50 turns. You enter "50" in the amount of turns you want to use box and then click forage. Instead of showing you the amount of cash/food and military you gained/lost per individual trun, it summarizes all of the gains/losses for each area for all 50 or how ever many turns you selected.
XI. Stored Turns Once you have the maximum amount of turns you can have, you will start to collect "stored turns." After you log in and use all of your regular turns, but have stored turns, you will earn one turn from your stored turns every time you get new turns. EX: Instead of getting 5 turns in 10 minutes, you will get 6 turns per 10 minutes until your stored turns run out. That way, if you can't get on for a while, you still get
some of the turns you would have lost.

C. Turn Rate
I. Overview In Frost And Flame, you get a certain amount of turns every so often until your tunr bank fills up. In FaF, each of the servers have different turn rates.
II. Conquest of Generals In the CoG server, you get x turns every x minutes.
III. Battle For Redwall In the BFR server, you get x turns every x minutes.
IV. Duels In the Duels server you get x turns every x minutes.
V. Challenge In the Challenge server, you start out with 10,000 turns and you have to use them to get your net-worth as high as you can. Once you use your 10,000 turns, you will be locked out of your account and if you got a high enough score, you can be in the Hall of Fame. You can create a new account as soon as your old account has been killed or deleted.

Yay, it's organized! Let's hear those suggtestions and implemeny the missing formulas.

Thanks,

Very excellent work.

some people are to picky about spelling and grammar... I agree with otter horde though, yet that's what people think of any guide they read :P

(oh and to be off topic and not have anything to do about the subject whatsoever, that link gondor, that first pic showing matthias is my desktop background ^^ though it shows a bit more stuff in it though...)

If you went to a new site and read a guide, would you like it to have good spelling and be thorough so that you had no more questions?

I agree with Nohc on this one, proper SPAG is important when writing guides and other official documents. It looks quite unprofesional to mess up spelling, especially on easy words (nobody's going to mind if you mess up on something with 50 characters, or even 20)

that's what I meant by "not like an chat message" and I've seen some game walkthroughs that have spelling errors every once in a while... that's what I meant. and I'm not gawking at every error there, but yeah, something official shouldn't have errors, and that thought had already occured to me too...
