I find school quite--how shall I say it--boring. Yes boring and unchallenging when it comes to classes. I never-ever study for anything and sometimes I will skip complete assignments but yet I still get straight A's and beyond. In the 6th grade my math level was at the equivilent of a college senior's. My science was a college sophomore's and my others were either highschool senior or fresman at college. But yet I never skipped any grades! Just shows you how terrible my county's education is. You know the No-Child-Left-Behind program from the government, but I think first they need to have the No-State-Left-Behind program. We (WV) are one of the lowest states in education, but yet one of the top ones for high taxes.
I shall come upon not but the swiftest of wings and my blade will echo your silence.
you will severely regret when you realize that your "ability" is not enough and you have absolutely no ability as far as studying
which is why even though it seems ridiculously easy.. you should start studying now and take books from next year.. for example.. and start testing yourself
or taking notes even though you know yo udont need it
of course im being really hypocritical in saying this.. but you can bet your manly jewels that its true
i for example cannot sit for as much as half an hour studying.. no joke
i can score well and proficiency is all way above average.. but in the end it doesnt cut it
and i know it

Yes, I can attest to that.
Right up until the end of my freshman year, I sailed through most classes, including math, with nary a problem.
Now I am finishing second-year honors math, and let me tell you, it's all about how many problems you do. Obviously some will have to do less, and some more, but basically that's not what it's about.
Which is annoying. But I suppose it teaches you that life is more work than skill. Remember Edison's comment?

Actually, I do have the ability to study, and as for taking note...I find I will actually do better by just listening, plus that we are required to take notes(grrr). But I must say as to your idea of taking out next years books and testing myself that that is why I am going to try to test out of some of my classes. (If it's not to late...) It's rather sad how the US's education system works, putting us(one that fall to the high side of the bell curve) with those who couldn't give a dang about anything. But the worst part is that we are told that it is our job to teach those who are average.sh0e wrote: you will severely regret when you realize that your "ability" is not enough and you have absolutely no ability as far as studying
Anyway, I have to have a motive to study(that being I need to or that I am interested), which I rarely do. Even for the final exams I'm not studying(that's not bragging) because the day of before the exam, I will review the notes I was forced to take and then the info. will be fresh in my mind
For Beatles: Life's skills increase the production of your work, and therefore, you get done faster.
