The Kraken, which is found primarily in Scandinavian myth, was a huge sea creature. It was said to lie at the bottom of the sea for a long time and then it would rest at the surface....Like the Midgard serpent in the Norse myths, the Kraken was supposed to rise to the surface at the end of the world.

Hmm... Redwall is probably my favorite. Martin is a cool character, but I never liked the book Martin the Warrior. Too sad for my tastes. Probably the only book I havn't read 5 times or more. It'd be great if it wasn't so sad, the main battle is of epic proportions, but, eh, I like my happy endings.

My favourite has to be Rakkety Tam but I don't know why because the start of it is just weird and not exactly redwall like.

I thought that Loamhedge was the latest one! Is Rackety Tam any good? I think that Brian Jaques got a little caught up in the same story line over and over and over so I got a bit bored...
