Ok, there will be vermin in the next warbands, although that trooptypes will no longer mention species in the next few revisions. Quite simply, it would be a bit weird to have a stoat fighting with otters and mice.

Next revision the game will not make a distinction between certain races being "Vermin" and others being "goodbeasts".
I'm concidring moveing the unit names into into a table of it's own. Or another config file in PHP (faster, but harder to update). Most likely race-alliance by location.
As far as the upgrades idea goes, I'm conciering implementing a system where for every number of "reaserch points" you have, obtained through a new building and possabally a spell, you could expend them on a certain "technology" that through a system of mutpliers would effect gameplay. For example, you would spend them on say "Farming" wich would change a multplier, giveing you say, 1% more yeld on all farms/foriagers. This would have to be checked, fo that I propose A. Maxing the max effect of reaserch out at around 15% for civilan technologies, and 10% for millitery techs. B. Make the effects higher for smaller warbands, makeing it so a larger warband needs to reaserch more to make up for it. C. Make reaserch really expencive, ie for that 1% uprade, you need around 1 billion reaserch points, which are gained at a rate of one reaserch point per "lab" per turn. Also, it's not comeing for a LONG time, if I do implement it at all. Think the better part of a year away...
