The Kraken, which is found primarily in Scandinavian myth, was a huge sea creature. It was said to lie at the bottom of the sea for a long time and then it would rest at the surface....Like the Midgard serpent in the Norse myths, the Kraken was supposed to rise to the surface at the end of the world.

'course it didnt work
no microsoft piece of software that I've used has worked properly for an extended period of time.. Windoze slllooooows down and deletes files important to itself, Office keeps asking me to install some features its convinced it needs, even though its gone without them for about 5 months now, and I've lost my office disk..



oh, and google's messanger works with gaim, so its spiffy

I had a rather hard time with MDK's.. err, what would that be now? MDA? but yeah.. I had a hard time with it's networking.. drake-roam is absolute crud.. couldnt keep a signal if its life depended on it, which so happens that it did and MDK got wiped off my hdd...

SuSe's live DVD is quite nice..

Fedora has nice Java stuff though.. I wonder if that was developed for Fedora alone or if you can get it separatly.. tells you /exactly/ what is wrong with your code and gives suggustions on how to fix it.. Eclipse will too, but I have yet to bother to learn it..
