that's pretty much what the guy who's linspire I looked at said
he's a gentoo fan.. but doesnt want to spend 3 days setting up his computer.. (gads, fedora installed in under an hour)
but yeah, to each their own..
that would be it Beatles
I couldnt find it in the yum group, so I assumed systray was it.. seemed likely enough, but I just ended up doing what I should have done to begin with and ran 'yum groupinstall XFCE' and it was packaged somewhere in there with the others
updatedb
is taking forever to run.. *sigh*

^___^
got 'er
do "locate panel.desktop"
and change two of the three files there, its obvious which 'cause the third has just a few lines that doesnt look like it needs changing..
kicker == gone
the only thing I'll miss about it is the K-menu.. I'll set about editing the xfce4 menu so that it has a few of the things its missing later..
Hobbs FTW!
Oh, nice!
But... If you only wanted the files on the desktop thingy, why didn't you just run XFCE with kdesktop?
I've got a Linspire iso only because it was the last day of "Freespire" and I finally got through. Heck, I figure it could be useful someday.
Heh, I'm completely KDE. Dunno, I just like it and understand how most of it works. It's pretty fast, too! (And I'm only running a 1.1 GHz machine with 256 MB RAM)

If you go down to the woods today, you better not go alone
It's a lovely day in the woods today, but safer to stay at home
