Try to determine if this is a person or a computer responding.

aye =D

but I do need to redo my windows install, its nearly unusable in its current state..
slow, too large, and I believe its slowly tearing itself apart from the inside.. and I havnt logged into it in months.. should probably go in just to update virus definitions and do some clean up..

I'm missing like 10 gigs right now.. I gave windoze 50 gigs, and its all but 2 gigs full.. I cant find where the darn space went.. its just filled with nothingness.. more than likely some files I told it to delete but it never got around to, but it hid the files from me...

I want to play halo, but it goes so slow I have to tone down the graphics to where they're all icky.. so I just play Unreal 2004 in fedora ^_^

I can't believe I still haven't tried FC. I'm over my RedHatophobia, so there really is no reason not to.

I guess I just like apt-get and dpkg. ;)

Interesting gossip:
Undefined said Undefined can't believe you still haven't tried FC.
Are you reason not to?Only just? A lot of people like that.

When you repartition and stuff, I do recommend sharing an ext3 partition between Windows and Linux. You can mount it from within both (I can show you how, in Windows). That way, not only do you get to share data, if you ever need it, but you can clean it up from within Linux with all the UNIX tools (du, df, locate, etc.). Plus, you might share Wine apps (never tried that).

wouldnt it simply be easier to make a fat32 share partitian, or just put windoze on the fat?

I've heard people put their windoze xp on fat32, geuss it worked alright
was never too sure on the benifits of ntfs, 'cept that it allowed compression...

It's an inferior file system and doesn't support UNIX permissions, and it's case-insensitive, etc.
