XFCE and Saliva

A brief list of what I found particularly striking:
-Desktop icons
-New file manager (hopefully simpler); upgrade to XFFM
-Stabler panel; iconbox in panel; multiple panels
-Auto-appfinding by the desktop and XFCE menus
-Session startup GUI
-Calendar with notifications
-Plugin, etc. downloader/installer
While still remaining, of course, XFCE.
