hey,
can someone help me out? my question is,
how doess the stockmarket work? is it complelty random like some one told me?
if not could you please tell me how it is associated with other stuff?
The way the prices move is totally random, yes. There has been some talk of making the prices adjust based on game events as well as precoded crashes, booms, and other things. But none of that has been implemented, to my knowledge.

For a while I belive that stocks had a type of "dividens" which were payed when the price was high enough. At one time I belive stocks split when the price was high enough, or reverse split when the price sunk too low. I am not sure though if these are implemented currently or not though.

I was thinking maybe stocks should work the way stocks IRL work. Plus the fact that you could scam the market by buying up a stock massivle when its cheap to raise the price much higher over the course of a few days/weeks then sell high and cash BIG!
Yes the stocks should also be based on things that happen in the game as thing that happen in the game should also be based on the stocks. Say that grains are worth $150-$200 on the SM (stock Market) then they should become more valuable in a networth sense also raising in price on the BM and MAYBE be able to place a higher price on them when selling on the PM. Same with the 4 military units. Maybe you should revamp the stocks to being stocks based on what is in the game so that the values of units, grains, runes, etc. raise or lower on the BM accordingly. It could be tested on WOA before being implemented as permanent thing of course because if the calculations or coding were off by a little someone could take 1bil cash and make it into like 5tril cash in a few days with the market scam.
Although it would make for a very interesting strategy for me to test out. lemme know ur opinions. (sorry for any misspellings or repeated phrases as I was writing very fast. Also sorry for the long post.)
I think stocks should reflect some game use as well. If more people were buying up archers, bows price should go up. or the more something dies the cheaper the price gets.
I am sure you gurus can figure it out. Let everyone else try to guess how there actions and the actions of others affect the prices. Making for another great add on to game play.
