Meh, almost nobody ever posts anything in sigs, so I don't read them. I thought it might be you, but figured it better to send the genaric welcome message, and have it turn out to be you, then to send a message to a guy asking if he was Scar, and have it turn out to be someone totally random who would reply with "Who?!"

I'd just find out for myself... screw sigs. Of course it'll use up 2 turns, but whateva. It saves time... esp. for lazy people which means, we don't give a why nor care what your sig says... unless it's on your forums sig, nobody will see it except for those few.
Many people habitually disable sigs in forums because they are so frequently bloated and useless. I didn't use to, but then it seemed every board I went to had thrown out all their rules in regards to sig sizes and 3/4 of each thread wound up being nothing but people's sigs. After that, I started simply turning off the viewing of sigs in every forum. I had to go to scar's profile after seeing this thread just to see what his sig actually was.
Bottomline: It's foolish to expect people to pay attention to something that can be disabled like that, especially when the vast majority of sigs are simply there for fun and not for any useful purpose.
It's not a sig, it's the profile page that comes up if you click the link that is their number. Quite useful, but hardly anyone reads them (or Criers).
