this is kinda neat, uses a debian base and Enlightenment..
its bootloader is.. interresting
fast as hell.. no taskbar though, which I find odd
but there is an iconbox similar to the one in xfce which you can enable.. donno what they expect you to do without it.. guess shade everything or get to it through the main menu.. but the iconbox is nice looking..
for a live cd.. it booted fast, loads everything extremely fast (that it can, some broken links, openoffice for example)
some of the fonts are about to drive me mad.. the titalbar fonts are like size 6 and everything else 20
and the mouse keeps changing colors depending if its in the window or over the desktop.. which is odd..
also with the mouse, if it leaves the screen (ie, falls off my lap) it ignores the window..
both of thoes are configureable somewhere I'm sure, but for now I'm just pokin around
shade is nifty too..
and the background they give you has stars that fade in and out.. rather neat effect.. 'course all the windows have shadows, which blend smoothly with other windows' shadows..
as in xfce, you can drag windows to different workspaces by ramming it into the edge of the screen.. but if you mouse gets too close to the edge of the screen it'll go into the next workspace.. far too easily for my liking.. again, probably configureable..
oddly, my fan just cut on.. which it never does.. my proc. was designed to run cool (pentium M) so whatever its doing right now its using up 100% of my cpu, which is getting hotter than I'd like it to, esp. for the system just idleing.. so I think I'll reboot..
's pretty though
