If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run -
Awesome poem.

nice = D

tux touchpad is.. interresting

out of curiosity, wot kinda digicam did you use to take the piccys?

...if I remember, I'll take a piccy or two of my desktop once my camera gets fixxed.. small problem, requires a precise dot of superglue.. or a new knob, wotever the guy decides.. hopefully the cheaper, as I'm unwilling to risk the health of my camera to try and do it myself..

I had a D-510 zoom. Very good camera, a bit outdated these days...

Coke is just... not so good at all. :/
HEATHEN! Coke is god! Bow down before the coke!
Coke is my ultimate fav drink. The only thing that can compete with coke classic for sheer goodness is vanilla coke.
Coke is ok, vanilla coke is disgusting.
I beg to differ, vanilla coke is great. I used to make my own vanilla coke more than 20 years ago by pouring a little vanilla extract into a bottle (the old 12oz prytop glass bottles, used to come in 8 packs) of coke.
The only bad coke (besides "new coke") is any of the diet ones. Diet crap always has a horrbile taste (regardless of brand or flavor, they all have a sickly sweet taste).

I like tea occaisionally. Nothing special, just the standard flavor when you buy teabags at the store (I don't even know what flavor that is. It says orange pekoe, but someone told me that was just the shape of the leaves or something, not the flavor). Unsweetened tea?! Are you NUTS?!? I put about 1/4 inch of sugar in the bottom of an 8oz cup of tea.
Sassafrass tea is very good, especially iced.

(btw, my desk is under my loft.. thus the wood in the background, and its what the gadzillion strings and florecent lamp, fan, and P-38 are hanging from.. you cant see all the strings in that piccy, but its just as well.. the other speaker lurks in the other corner, you can see just a bit of it)

Ooh, koalas. Am I mistaken in thinking that's a koala on the left?

Wide screen for a ThinkPad. Cool!

Now I don't have much of an excuse for not taking a photo of my work area. That's even messier than mine. ;)

On an offtopic note, is that a T42 or T43, windy? How's it like as a laptop? What's your battery life with FC4 (if you tend to not use it plugged in).
If you go down to the woods today, you better not go alone

squirrel :*laughs*:
and my thinkpad's not widescreen.. awkward viewing angle + crummy shot.. should have toned the flash down as well

*cough*
erm.. that's actually clean for my desktop..

she's a T-42, get roughly an hour and a half with FC4 and a year old battery (that gets constant use) I used K-battery thing to cut the processor back and eek a few more min out

overall not bad

My Dell c700 or whatnot gets 4-5.5 hours of battery life with KPowersave on 'Performance' mode. Nyah! :D
Then again if I actually run OO.o, it goes down to 2-4 hours...

I have a feeling windy isn't running things on a very optimized setting. T42s usually get anywhere between 3 and 5 hours. :P

Well, this is with one stock battery -- the other dock (usually holds floppy or CD) can take another.
Then again, this is mostly with the screen off. With the screen on, at 63 MHz, it's the 2-3 hours I mentioned.
