Well, so much for that. There's 4.5 billion extra cash floating around WOA now...
And Drahken can't be hit for another 2 days by unclanned people...

Of course, I could always just do a diff. ;) But saving the effort would be nice.

So it was some kind of bug that made his net so high, when he only had a relitivly reasonable amount of cash? Or was the bug in in the amount of cash he gained? Either way, that would explain the unreasonably high net. That would have had to have been an insanely huge amount of troops, otherwise. Ah, well. Things are back to normal now.

*Looks at news* Bah! Drat you, Japan! :P You sacked 4 trillion dollars off him! I haven't seen so much as a penny from him, and unless you left that cash out, I still probably wont... Oh, well. Such is life. :*laughs*:

You know, the networth looked very strange, as if the maximum value had been reached for cash.

Well F~ you too!
Hell of a lot of good it does to have me supposedly protected from unclanned attacks when all anyone has to do is spend 3 seconds creating a frigging clan! What the sam hell was the point?! None of the people who slammed me last night were in a clan before your supposed protection, they all created their own clans expressly for the purpose of bypassing your supposed protection.
I log off last night with everything hunky-dory, then I log in this morning to find all my cash gone, most of my land gone, much of my troops gone, more attacks than I can count in my news, and then this thread claiming I was protected! Fixing the bug was one thing, but leaving me vulnerable to attack like this.....

cool. think about the unbalancing consequences... considering WOA is a never-reset server, this money will surely unbalance the game... Take my case: I have only 400 bilion stored, now people have 10 times more money than me, and by the time I reach then, they will have a lot more! :)

Maybe it is time for some godl^H^H^H^H admin intervention?

I know my dormant WOA account has about 40-some billion cash stored, but am I now, should I choose to do more than make a run or two, at a severe disadvantage?

Beatles, intervene or not?

Drahken -- I did post in the forum topic advocating people to give you time. If they didn't, too bad; but you can now cheerfully label them dishonourable and have flamewars and stuff. Whatever.
Anyways if you were making insane amounts of resources, and you weren't suspicious, and didn't contact the administration, then there's only so much sympathy I have.

Devari -- it might be a good idea to confiscate that cash, yes.

Drahken: I stole your cash before I even knew it was a bug, and had your clan set to war so I could take the cash before I even saw this topic. And if you were smarter, you would have put your cash into stocks instead of letting it sit out in the open.

Beatles and Devari: Why confiscate it if no one knew of the bug until recently (after the cash was received)?

It doesn't really matter if you knew about it or not. The point here is retaining the game balance of a non-resetting server. The influx of cash obviously benefits only a few select people who were lucky enough to get some, and therefore tips the entire non-resetting set in their favour. In BFR, this wouldn't be as big a deal - it would all be purged at the end of the set anyway. But this cash is out there until the next version release of FAF, a long time from now.

So why not take the cash stolen and let the ones who stole it keep 40%, then distribute the other 60% to the rest of the warbands?
