thats what i mean

the stock market is working
but there are no stocks in the db and thus there are no stocks to buy

if you want stocks you will have to pester someone (beatles) to add stocks to the stock market
maybe it was even deliberately done?

That wasn't intentional. Sorry all... will add in a little.
In the meanwhile, if you like, sh0e, there is an install script that will generate the stocks stuff. Just take the relevant code and execute it. But I can do that in a few days.
