Today I made the last of a series of modifications by Devari and myself -- and Devari started it and did the brunt of the work -- that should finish the green theme. It's not as pretty as it could be, true, but at least it works. So could you chaps please test it, and also let me know if you'd want to make it the default theme?

linky to skin
I'm half and half.. I like the black, but the green would mean that it and the forum matched nicer.. and its rather pretty..
edit: and as nice as the faf logo is, mayhaps we should have somthin that works better with the page? it kinda clashes right now, the green is very soft and the logo is more harsh.. just my thought..

Yeah, it's not as nice as the forum one.
On the bonus however: It's now /very/ easy to generate more skins. Once any admin makes a change to the green.css file, all they have to do is run the skingen.php file and all the other color themes will be re-created from it. Take a look at your Manage page, or just visit these links:
Theme: Default
Theme: Shadows
Theme: Red
Theme: Green
Theme: Blue
Theme: Forest
Theme: Purple
Theme: Forest
Theme: Grayscale
Theme: Dark
Theme: Plain
I just created all of them automatically from the green.css file, by modifying the .css files and the images. So if anyone makes a change to green.css, we can easily and painlessly propagate it.

Did you notice/intend that the red theme uses red for things normally colored in green (good amounts of land, positive food/cash inflows) and green for things normally colored in red (negative cash inflows)? Because I'm really afraid I'll see my cash in green, think I'm making cash, rather then loosing, and lose a pile of troops due to desertion.
Edit: Like blue theme, if you're going to switch to a new default, I'd sooner use that, instead of green. Or even red, instead of green. Except for that warning color thing...
Forest ist not bad, either. If you want something green, Forest would be my choice. Better then that monotonic green theme...
Purple and Forest II have the same warn color issue as red. Other then that, they're both good.
Grayscale: Kind of hard to read top bar, no warn colors.
Dark Grayscale has the same problems as Grayscale, but otherwise is very nice. Bit of a different feel to it then the others. (Note: Also, some readability issues on buttons and in text boxes).
Plain: Just... plain. Nothing special, no problems either.
