Is it possiable for me to start a clan?

Ok i'm pretty new here i only joined today. I was wondering if it's possiable for me to start a clan? Also what do clans exactly do? Also if it is possiable for me to start a clan what are the advantages of doing so?

You can start a clan by selecting "Create Clan" under the "Clans" heading in the toolbar. The primary disadvantages to starting a clan is you will not be able to leave your clan for 72 hours, so if you want to join a different clan you gotta wait, and also anyone else in a clan can declare war on your clan. By declaring war on your clan they can have an unlimited number of attacks on you. If you stay unclanned you can only be attacked 21 times, with 1 additional attack every hour. Every time you attack someone else it adds 2 attacks to your hit limit.

Basically you get attacked 15 times, then 4 hours later someone wants to attack you they can only do it 10 times. (21 hits max - 15 attacks + (1 per hour X 4 hours)) If you attack 5 times then you can be attacked 10 additional times.

Primary advantages to clan is first of all you can now declare war on any other clan, so you can hit any clanned person an unlimited number of times. You can send Aid to a clanmate an unlimited number of times, you can use shared defense if you have some clanmates, you can use a clan treasury if you have clanmates, and you can use a clan market.

What he means is that it's unlikely you'll get a lot of clanmates right off the bat.

Well, A: Some people want to avoid the unlimeted attacks, B: Some people just like running alone, C: Not everyone wants to join a clan lead by a person they don't know.

Hmm fair point, well i'm giving it ago, so far i have one member in one day, so i guess that's not bad. I've been sending at invitations to a few people. Hopefully they will join.
