"Put up or shut up", Beatles... At least, I think that's what it is.
But he's right, Urran. We all know that from a fair start, you'd most likely smoke gondor. The real question is, can you, with or without ally help (there's no real purpose in not ticking off everybody else in the game if they're not going to help you anyway) take him down in this situation? If yes, do so. Give us all the enjoyment of watching it. If not, then stop saying you can.

Lasts two months?! Ah, then I need not worry myself. :*laughs*:
Without ally help would be a bit difficult, unless you don't count me asking people not to take me down to 15K every day (average land there is in the upper 50Ks).But he's right, Urran. Gondor has burnt most of the bridges in the FAF community (clan-wise anyway) and therefore has a hard time recruiting people. Most don't really trust him anymore and it's never a good idea to clan with someone you cannot trust.
Urran I feel your pain, the first time I played with Gondor he took emptied our CT, bought all our dirt cheap troops on the CM, left the clan and attacked us, then deleted. Ever since then I have made it a point to create an empire anywhere I see him getting big and take him down. Unfortunately my log-in problems have not been completely fixed or I'd try to make enough time to do it now.
There is nothing wrong with building loads of guards, or any other legal strategy. If it works go for it. The playerbase *should* be able to prevent that kind of a strategy from working but if people can't prevent it there's no shame in using it.
About Medieval Empires: I played there very briefly and from my limited experience it seemed rather noobish as a whole (no offense intended, just stating my honest opinion). Turn rates are high and a decent player could really, really dominate there.

I know the voices in my head arn't real but they usually have some pretty good ideas.
