As some of you have noticed, prices and amounts etc. in BFR have decreased radically. Rest assured, nothing is gone, not even due to rounding. It is just that the values displayed to you on the screen are at one-thousandth of what they used to be. So if you had 1,203,761 Sapraba, you would now see 1,204 Sapraba. And so on, the same for cash, food, runes, and Spies.

The values you input into forms throughout the game have also been adjusted. (In total, that is 138 changes by me this morning alone.) Needless to say, there may be bugs. Please be especially vigilant of them, and report any that you see.

I repeat, this change is merely cosmetic, and does not affect gameplay.

Please help us fix the bugs!

Whee! I likey. Takes some getting used to seeing less than a mil in troops, but 'tis fun!

I'm guessing the light infantry are 2:2 in all locations, but I couldn't break a couple people yesterday when I had well over 3 mil and they had less than 1 mil. <_<

Guards, likely. As I said, this doesn't at all affect gameplay.

Yes, people are massing guards early in the game. Kind of useless, if you ask me. Sure, they stop some attacks, but it's not hard to build up enough troops to break them.

It is very hard adjusting to this few troops, though... Urg! 1k warships just doesn't look right...

1k warships woul have been a world class navy back then...

The Persians in all their might only ever sent 600 to the Peloponnese and that was their greatest naval assemblage.

I'm not talking historical perspective, I'm talking normalacy perspective. Have 1k warships does not look right, even if it makes historical sense.

But that's ok. We'll adjust... I'm just dreading having to explain low troop numbers to newbies...

To me, it seems like it adds more of a challenge. And if you played Ragnarok, then you have already seen a reduced military, ain't that right, Devari? ;)

Not this reduced, I don't think... It might be devided by 10. Definately not 1000...

Yay! Enthusiasm! Thanks Devari. :)

Yes, I'm thinking we might need to reduce warships even more than the other troops. Perhaps by changing their relative prices and attack power, food consumption, cash consumption? Yeah, I'll try that...

Offensive Actions: 16 (0%)

And dont tell me im "noobing" either this is just BS.

If i hit someone who has NO frontal assult DEFENDERS then who in the hell is DEFENDING?

Its not hard to scale a tower if its undefended, you know... the logic in having them be able to hold back armies without a garrison is incredibly flawed.

I have a feeling that spy is not working properly. Besides which, this is a cosmetic change - and therefore guards are no more powerful than before.

The theory is it's always the light troops that man a tower.

BTW, I just looked at who you attacked and they have looooads of Thessalians.

Devari -- if you mean the cash/food/runes I just fixed that.
