Anyways, the pending tasks message is necessary so you don't forget, even despite your ordeal. I didn't attach urgency to it.

We'll be moving tomorrow, I had two midterms this week, a grant deadline at work this week, and a midterm next week, not to mention the homework for Monday which will have to be conducted in the utmost chaos in a new (smaller) apartment. Talk about hectic. Add to that my average sleep in the last week was 5 hours, with 4 hours last night, none more expected tonight, as I have a huge CS project due at midnight, which I haven't yet started.

Alright, just so we're clear.

Now, Hoplites is fine, but for the fact that the heavies are Spartans. I still like Corinthians, but if you insist, I suppose Thebans would work fine too. Corinth was a city-state, and the name of that book of the Bible comes from it, not vice-versa, but whatever.

Assyrians however is not fine. They had NOWHERE NEAR that kind of offensive firepower. I don't like the persians either. What happened to the tweaks that I made? Eh, I'll make some adjustments later. I'm too tired to deal with it right now.

And yes, it does suck, you try doing that for a week straight. Even tasty stuff gets old after a week. Though, joy of joys, I had eggs tonight.

The Assyrians weren't that bad, though. I guess it depends on what time period this takes place in, which I always found kinda vague.

Heh, but the Persians were on their rise and the Assyrians had reached a plateau of sorts.

Besides which, all that means is that they should have a crappy defense score.

One can hope though can't they Neo? Sorry for the little mini-lecture Beatles, I know you have more knowledge than that.

Persians should be tweaked a bit too. I still don't like the -4 to off and def, they did have decent armies, true, most of the power was in numbers, but the soldiers weren't incompetent.

Assyrians pwned for awhile, till they overeached in Egypt, but Macedon pwned everyone. This is not "at their height" it can't be, other wise we should have even bothered with the theme switch. Assyrians need to be less powerful, end of story.

They were offensibvely brutal volky... and mean as the junkyard dog, but look at the other stats...

They are substantially weaker than the Macedonians given the actual role per race.

Erm actually they just had the luck to develop their offense at time when the rest of the Meso-egyptian world was in a slump. They were good no doubt, but alot of their advantage came from everyone else being weak.

We've got a month, remember. Talk it over between the two of you and copy the spreadsheet (make sure to share it with laddiebuck) and then Ruddertail and Zeph and Devari can take a look at it too, etc.
I'm just trying to say we can still change things.
