Now, naval troops (Triremes, Quinquiremes, Warships) have been further slashed by a factor of 1/100. Thus if you have 12 Warships, it's the direct equivalent of 1.2 million otters. So just keep that in mind!

Again as with the previous change, gameplay is unaffected, because the rounding only happens when we display things. So the same troops are conceptually still there, they just appear as less to you, and gameplay isn't affected at all...

So if someone actually does collect a navy of 600 vessels, like Philip did, it will mean the equivalent of 60 million Warbands otters.

The Kraken, which is found primarily in Scandinavian myth, was a huge sea creature. It was said to lie at the bottom of the sea for a long time and then it would rest at the surface....Like the Midgard serpent in the Norse myths, the Kraken was supposed to rise to the surface at the end of the world.

grah

feels really wierd, being used to having millions of troops.. I now have 230 chariots.. so that would be 230,000 chariots? or 2,300,000?

I noticed cash and food have been scaled as well.. Food: 52,273 would normally be rather bad, but as of now its green

it'll take some getting used to ;)

230,000 chariots.

Then again a dude with 270 Warships would have the equivalent of 27 million otters...

Mmmm

I think this is lovely except for my afore-mentioned disdain for the 0 troop defense, which is totally unrelated.

Speaking of guards, do buildings still give defensive points? Sorry if I missed this.

Urran -- they're the same, except Ships are 100 times stronger.

Freenhunt -- check out the "Indies Take Notice" topic in BFR...
