Sorry I can't get a more accurate link (QMT's funny that way) but check the forums @ http://qmt.ath.cx/ then check their classic discussion and there is a thread advertising a free prom calculator. I have had it for 6 months or so and have had 0 problems whatsoever with it, and it has helped me immensely.

*recalls a last second upset where that calc allowed my cousin to win a set over ohmyshieldsaredown. :P

This version is just a couple days old and I haven't got it yet so I don't know what new additions there are, but the older version had magic ratios for attacking and defending, and how much cash or food you'll get from looting/foraging. It also had attacking/defending which won't translate to FAF well since your unit stats are different.

Next point is I'm gonna get internet up for at least a month so I can do my taxes.

http://s33.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=130BSBM106LV903Y0QUNG8HI88
and that's apparently a link to it.. I donno, I havnt setup wine yet so I cant run it..

if you're usin' firefox and are browsing a site made around frames (like qmt) right click, go down to 'This Frame' and click 'Show Only This Frame'

been pondering making a new web-based calculator like the one beatles' had on his rwcenter (?)
with time, the latest code dump, and a little help from dreamweaver I might beable to piece one together.. might try it sometime this week..

unless, ofcourse, beatles still has that page ;)

wondy: You can't use the Evaluation version?

We do need a FAF version of this since the races are no longer the same.

I took a glance at this yesterday, and it seems all the info it calculates is already available in FAF via the coloring, and the Espionage screens. The market stuff is not calculable on FAF, as here sales goes into your Bank. So to sum up, this program is just not relevant for FAF.

The principle difference between FAF's mage calculator (which I love as an added feature) and this one, is that FAF's strictly does what you're empire currently does, whereas this one you can adjust any modifier, so if you want to see how many more mages you would need on perfect ratio to embezzle someone then you can figure it out no problem, which sure beats the crap out of the guess and check method.

Also you can calculate what kind of a mage ratio is necessary for another player to be able to mage you, which helps immensely if you are trying for emporership.

Lastly there's the loot/forage which I don't use as much (I always preferred war over peace) but does have it's uses.

I haven't seen the market additions but I sure hope he has something on BM refill. That would rock.

Anyway the point is if you're gonna be warring a good mage I strongly recommend getting a calculator that allows you to insert variables, it is a huge benefit. I couldn't tell you the number of times I have benefited from that calc.
