But the irony is, Vista does look like a complete joke. Granted, it's just a beta as of now, and as of the last some years.

concidering its been, what, 5 years since xp was released.. it really doesnt look like they've done much. Esp. concidering what was promised. I've heard some claims that vista will stop all spyware and adware though..
microsoft also claimed that their xbox 360 would take ~3 years to crack.. the first mod was done in ~6 months (allows users to play non-offical (burned dvd-r) disks, ie pirated games..

a little transparency is pretty. too much makes it awkward.. looks like they're teetering on the edge of awkwardness.. in the screenshots the only way to tell which window is ontop is the one with the red x...

I probably wont touch it till atleast service pack one.. might just keep xp for a while.. takes an age (almost 5 min) to boot up and load all the damn little startup programs that keep it safe®, but once it loads it runs as fast as it ever did..
