The Kraken, which is found primarily in Scandinavian myth, was a huge sea creature. It was said to lie at the bottom of the sea for a long time and then it would rest at the surface....Like the Midgard serpent in the Norse myths, the Kraken was supposed to rise to the surface at the end of the world.

Gosh Volkov...Its bad when you or someone else can't understand you/them that lives 150 miles away. Mackinac is kinda in the Upper LP region even though its in the middle of the lake. Most of the LP sounds similar, but you go up to the UP and good luck trying to get mashed potatoes and a coke. :*laughs*:

(Did you visit the fort by chance? I would think a history guy like you wouldn't miss it.)

*laughs*. I guess it's as you say Freeny.

And of course I visited the fort. Wouldn't have missed it for the world. It sucked riding my bike up that hill though.
