It was said to lie at the bottom of the sea for a long time and then it would rest at the surface....Like the Midgard serpent in the Norse myths, the Kraken was supposed to rise to the surface at the end of the world.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Pakistan like a thousand miles west of NK? And I doubt we go to war with NK. We won't attack any nuclear armed country without a damn good reason. And we don't want to piss off China.

Does it really matter all that much Nuke? It was a joke. Nothing more. Obviously the next country directly up from Pakistan is China. I was just being silly like the slashdotter was. Also, North Korea is only ostensibly nuclear armed. They claim it, but there is no real proof to back the claim. We wouldn't want to piss of China no, but there's nothing they could really do to stop us short of nukes if we did decide to invade N. Korea.
