The Kraken, which is found primarily in Scandinavian myth, was a huge sea creature. It was said to lie at the bottom of the sea for a long time and then it would rest at the surface....Like the Midgard serpent in the Norse myths, the Kraken was supposed to rise to the surface at the end of the world.

Do you even read your sources?
"A three-to-four degree increase of the temperature on Greenland from 1920 to 1930, and the increase recorded since 1995 has sped up the ice melt," he said.
If anything, that supports global warming...The shrinking of the glaciers since the 19th century is "the result of the atmosphere's natural warming, following volcanic eruptions for example and greenhouse gases, created by human activities, which have aggravated the situation further," he said.

Actually it supports neither. What it is saying is that part of the global warming phenomenon is natural. There are many componentst to the Greenland ice melt. One part is the planet recovering from the "Little Ice Age" that lasted from around 1350 AD to 1850 AD. Another part of it is the wobble of our planets axial tilt. That is, it's just another of the planet's many cycles. Just like the hurricane cycle. There's a 30 year cycle in the Atlantic, that has nothing to do with global warming, that alternates between periods of high tropical storm activity and low tropical storm activity. The problem has been that we had trouble recognizing this because really accurate records and satellite based observation has only become available in the last 30-40 years or so. However, greenhouses gases are a problem that needs to be fixed. As said in the article, we may not be a major contributor, but we are aggravating warming trend.

Remember what I said about Hydrogen Cars? Well forget it. The French have just changed the equation on clean car technology. The current version of the car gets about 200 km per tank with a top speed of 110 km/hr. The long distance version get's 200 mpg. And get this, it runs on AIR. Compressed air. It has an onboard compressor so you can refill the air tanks in four hours for about 2 dollars worth of electricity. The longer distance version uses gas or some other fuel to help compress the air. But you can drive from LA to New York City on one tank of fuel.

The first one says global warming is real, and the second is exactly what I have been talking about in most of the posts I have made in almost all the forums I go to when talk turns to global warming. Global warming is going to CAUSE this global cooldown. The Little Ice Age had very little to do with solar emissions, no matter what this Russian says. What it was caused by was the North Altantic current shutting down due to salinity changes. That is going to happen again once enough glaciers have melted in greenland and the North Pole.
And the first article.. well what's true for one area, the opposite is true for the rest of the world.

Yes, tank failure is a problem. You didn't read the link I posted though, otherwise you would know that they are using carbon fiber tanks which prevent catastrophic tank failures like you see on the news.
