WoA on ME

Thats a bunch of BS Freen and you know it. Its ok if you or your people are dishing it out but once you become the victim then its a problem with everyone else. I can not believe you are even saying that. You know its almost like now you are done with the site so now you are going to cast stones at something that you once fully participated in.

Not really... I was even against dropping the rules we have here. I still generally follow them, as does most people. No one STDs.. though they might hit 21 times.

I don't know whats up Turock, but seriously. I died more times than I could count on each server. I gave out alot, and I got alot back, but thats irrelevant. I never did like all the killing, and I still don't. I don't want to sit around in a purely peace time environment, but I dont' always want war either. Ironically, I'm kinda screwed, because its too peaceful at FAF and a bloodbath at ME.

And what do you mean by MY people? No one is my people, I am me and me is me. I have no people, and if you mean FAF then say it. I can't even speak for them or what they want, I'm saying what I mean. And I mean to say I don't like ME because its too violent for me. Now... Is that not a true statement? So then you shouldn't get upset, because its me explaining why I quit. I never said OMG ME IS KILLZOR! or anything that made it an official statement that everyone agreed with.

As for the problem with everyone else, that is a lie. Though I do take exception to most of those AoC blokes.

And I'm not bashing ME at all. Some people do like that kinda of level of game. So they will play there, but still... overall compared to teh few promisance games I have played, I find ME to be the most violent one that I have played so far. You wanted a war game and you got one. I'm more of a strategist, and I like to take my time observing and building. I can't really do that there with the land change and net changes on a daily basis, and it was really annoying to me.

I'm not going to apologize for what I said, because I didn't do anything wrong. If you want to talk about how FAF has no playerbase or how its so peaceful and slow, so be it. Its your opinion. I know you won't because thats just plain mean. And I'm not the kind of person to just be plain mean. So obviously you mistook my position. And I'm sorry about that.

Coming over to another game to kill people, then kill even more people, around like 10, and you complain of the violence? I find that humourous. You also killed me here at FAF WoA, so please enough with the omg, violence, ahh!!!! argument. As for the being killed, so? I recall you killing quite a few people yourself. It's called karma.

Okay...Okay.. No one does it for kicks. I felt that your net was getting to high. And you were yellow to me most days. I had to drag you down. So..Yeah. I'd expect you to bash me if I got to high... its logical. I have started using that 2 troop attack thingy because its not as damaging as STDS.

The issue at hand isn't what I've done in the past. Its what you all seem to find so offensive. So stick to it.

This is really none of my business, so let me delve right in.

I went over to WOA and invited some FAFers and we killed the top chaps. Then we helped Arthus with his campaign against the AOC clan. I don't really think we did much senseless killing on WOA; then again, nobody else did at that time. No idea what it's like now.

AOL has always been pretty violent. I didn't do senseless kills there until I was senselessly killed and then I got sucked into it. That's just my personal perspective. I think MM is much the same. Anyways, I think if anything that's what Freen was referring to. Not sure what WOA is like these days. And it wasn't an objection, merely a preference, and it certainly wasn't anything but a personal opinion, I'm sure he didn't imply any wider criticism. It's quite true that he did it in a misunderstandable fashion, although not on purpose.

lemme start by saying that I come from a peacefuller time. my first promi was RWL, and I came at the very beginnning. There were guidelines that everyone just followed, for the most part, without even being asked. FOUR attack limit. LIMIT. Per Day. Per Horde. Murders were seen as an act o' war. It was friendly and clans met and waged war. TWELVE attack limits in war time, more if provoked. NEVER was anyone maxxed. Never. I loved that game
Time moved on and I lost that rwl I once knew and loved. Its not (well, when active) nearly as bad as some other promis in terms of violence, but you still get maxxed.

My stance now is give as you get. I come out of protection, raise my small army and acumulate some reasources, then wait for somone to hit me. On both ME and FAF I've been maxxed right out the door, no provocation. I really dont see much difference in violence levels between the games, other than in ME there's more people to continually hit you

My understanding was the FAF went to ME 'cause there were two players who were virtually unbreakable and we were to take them out. Not really to kill, but thats what it ended up as. I donno, maybe the intent was to kill, wasnt made clear to me

I was asked to assist in a few other kills that benifited my clan. I'm a mager, and kill runs hurt me more than anything
/most/ of the people FAF killed off were either trying to kill FAF members or attacking only FAF people.

I honestly dont know if my Echo was killed or died due to inactivity. I pumped his defence up when I saw another clan (borg) trying to imitate FAF's working together to make a kill, but they did it poorly. There wasnt really any reason behind them wanting my poor little Echo dead, but the did send a warning and after a day or two of coming in to find myself below 500 acres I pulled the plug, bought 500,000 knights and left my account. (note, I stayed clanned)

Being maxxed daily seems to be just a part of the game now. I dont much care for it, but within limits it helps my mage strat

The thing I absolutly cannot stand is clan jumpers. Because I did help in kill runs and had two or three kills to my name I stayed clanned pretty much the entire set. There are soo many people including the 'borg' folk that jump into a clan, make a run, then have the leader boot. I believe the leader in this case was even in protection, so he couldnt be killed.

I second the thing about clan jumping (and everything else windy said, of course) particularly. I've always been clanned, even though I was serial-killed on AOL for it.

We originally went to WOA just to take Arthus and Deathlord down, cause they were essentially unbreakable. The killing was spur of the moment. Then people killed several FAFers, so we decided to retaliation was the order of the day and took out every possible threat to ourselves. When that was completed, most of us went on vaca or quit. And you know that Arthus, you were there. So don't exagerrate.

well, I made a new ME:WOA account, not planning on joining a clan though
plan to poke around, see how I can do without protection / hinderance of a clan (FAF and SS being large red targets for the rest of the game )
