Meh, I did an espionage on a guy in BFR. It said I should be able to do covert operations on him. So, I select a CO, punched in his number, and tried. It failed. Not only failed to break, failed totally.

So... either the readout is bugged, or COs are Bugged.

EDIT: I can do other missions on him, apparently. My guess is that the Covert Operations are buggy...

EDIT 2: I finally got it to work. That makes me think the Readout is just thinking it takes a much lower ratio then it really does. Perhaps it calculates the ratio wrong?

My guess is that since you need two things for covert op, your own ratio only so you can even launch it (that's why it failed totally as opposed to was defeated) and a ratio supremacy so it succeeds. The display was calculating the latter; but not considering that your own ratio might be too weak to even launch the attack.

Depending on how you look at it, the behavior /is/ correct. However, it's unfriendly so it'll need to be fixed. Probably something like redding Covert Ops out in military page if your ratio is too low (and yellowing out things you don't have runes for).

Ok.

I think you were planning to red out stuff on the regular Spies page, but I don't know if that ever got implemented...

Also, another couple bugs. On the attack page, there's a third set of fields. It looks like kind of a cross between the Troop attack set, and the Hawk set. It has the fields for troops, but the selection drop downs for hawks.

Also, there are largish Error Messages all over the game guide.

Yellow/red warnings are implemented on the Spies page currently. They have been for some time, just not on the military page. Unless I'm missing what you meant.
