Given the way the two methods of posting round results turn out, I'm suggesting that we make it official policy to simply copy and paste the text of the scores page (as in the first listing of the current scores) rather then using the "code" function (as in the second method).

The "Code" function has, for some reason, a tendency to make account listings spill on to two lines, something only insanely long listings will do when copy/pasted. Further, code has no special benefits - it does not keep columns in order, not make it in any way more easily readable. In fact, I do believe, due the to multi - line listings and white background, they become slightly less readable then when copy/pasted.

Perhaps just trimming the other stuff off would work better? Who cares if they were phoenician or were in Europe. That would clear up clutter I think. I like code more. It looks more professional.

Well... it's interesting to note the races and regions. It gives a record of what strats were favored, generally.

Personally, I strongly dislike the code look, even without that. I don't think it looks professional, it just looks... bleh. Kinda sterile, I guess, and I don't know... Just not as good as plain copy/paste.

Slasher - screenshots take a long time to load, and can be lost more easily (look at some of the round results. All the screenshots Japan posted don't show anymore.)

In addition, if you have more players in a round then fit in one screen, you lose the lower people... It's nice to get a full round result, not just the top ten.

*Shrug* I guess it doesn't matter. If it isn't broke don't fix it?

Yeah, I suppose. But it still takes a while to load (I'm on dial - up, sue me) and won't allow for posting of the full round results if we have a lot of players.

Freen - what?

I'm just wondering why we're caring about the format for how we post results. O_o. If any thing, we should be talking about why there isn't a land source in WoA. <.<

I'm worrying about it because I think the current format is ugly and somewhat hard to read.

What do you mean, no land source on WOA?

I don't know why its ugly. If you take a minute to align the rows up it looks fine either way. Both ways look messy if you just copy paste spam.

I mean, I'd like a land farm. Because scouting is horrifically boring and the only reason I've done so much is the 500k runes in the Sci Ops treasury.

Yay I win! ;)
It ain't about how hard ya hit. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done!

You still have the problem of 2 lines, though I admit, it doesn't look as bad as the way I did it. I still don't like the plain white background, though. Something with a bit of color would be good.

Perhaps we could make a whole special set - up for FAF round posting. Something that we could copy/paste into, and it would automatically show it in the nice rows with the FAF background.

Just a thought...
