What to do with our Cities idea?

Well...We talked about cities being hard to get, giving double production, and then flailed over if/how they should be captured, and do they still exist after they have been taken.

I had said something about building Outposts somewhere. An Outpost would allow you to attack in the region you built it in, so you didn't have to do the hawk mission everytime you wanted too. Outposts could serve as cities, as they would be away from the motherland and all, or on the fringes of the empire.

Really, it just says 50,000 land. Doesn't say 50,000 Sq. Acres. So you could have an empire that was shaped like Texas or something, or have it extend across areas. Thats really complicated though, but it sounds cool.

So... What should cities do exactly, how should they be captured/destroyed exactly.

I would advocate for cities destroyed in capture, but the attacker gets the land. Otherwise, people will farm new players for cities, instead of building their own.

I have an extremely long post I could write up, but I just don't have the time/will to do it just yet... I had come up with a lot of ideas with regards to cities when I was working on Ragnarok, but I never really wrote them down.
